Hangin' with Jose

Say,
How many Tallahassee politicians do you trust?   Is there anyone up there that you're proud of ?
Image result for image of jose javier rodriguez  I'm proud of Jose Javier Rodriguez and thrilled that we elected him two years ago.  If you've met him or heard him speak, I know you feel the same way.

It's election time again and Jose's got to raise money to continue serving us.   Friends are having a South Grove soiree on Sunday.  Why not bring yourself (and your checkbook) to Irvington Avenue Sunday afternoon? We'll have fun and help keep Jose's train rollin'.

    The invitation is below,

THIS WEEK IN THE GROVE,

Isn't it great to have good places to go in the Grove?   Here are two this weekend,

  Tomorrow Night (Friday
)  is the third Cabaret Night at the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove. They have been very successful and most of all, a lot of fun.
Please pass it on to family and friends. All proceeds benefit the Club and its programs and the preservation as a Historic Landmark built in 1891.
The band is blues favorite, "Blackstar" featuring the Grove's own Bruce Turkel.  Check the club's website for details.

Also on Friday (September 26) the St. Hugh-Steinway concert series continues with another amazing performance. Soprano Sandra Lopez and tenor Stuart Neill will entertain us with voices rarely heard in person.
Join us Friday at St. Hugh Church, 3460 Royal Road, two blocks south of the Coconut Grove Playhouse, at 8 pm.
   Ticket information is below.
